A house of her own was her dream.

A place where she was free to wear and eat what she wished, where her creativity could flow unhindered and her choices weren’t limited by societal pressures. 

A safe haven she could come back to, where she wouldn’t be judged for what she did.

A house wasn’t just about bricks and mortar but the people living in it too. She had sadly forgotten.
