Their eyes met just for a split second of time. She was having breakfast at an upscale hotel restaurant while he was travelling in a bus carrying his college backpack.
Like her, he had the same wonder in his eyes and the greed to have the luxury that she was enjoying presently. Very curious eyes that were eager to reach the pinnacle soon.
She smiled. It had taken her years of hard work.
But, the pursuit was much sweeter and satisfying than being at the top. She knew he would understand it too once he reached there.
