No one is born cruel. Unfavourable circumstances lead people to behave cruelly. She truly believed it.
She was a kind soul who couldn’t bear to see her innocent children wailing every day. When she lost hope, she fed them poisoned rice.
Starvation brought out the worst in her. She became cruel too before...

Flyovers were constructed throughout the city to stop traffic congestion and make lives easy for the citizens.
Gradually the poor and homeless found space under the flyovers.
Even development took sides with the affluent and pushed the down trodden to remain underneath.
