A girl rides with her dad on a scooter. Her skirt belt is missing a buckle ring in the back. It flaps in the wind, loose. I want to tell her. But I remember a girl I once knew, confident, until someone joked about her dress.

She laughed, but after that, she kept checking, fixing , hiding.

Some words don’t fade.

So, this time , I choose to stay quiet and let her confidence grow…..because sometimes silence is the loudest kindness.
