LIFE ….. AFTERLIFE

The lifeless body was lying on the floor. Blood flowing from the slit wrist. The loved ones were shocked and wailing.
The soul was shocked too to see the body. How could the body betray its own soul? Though the body had freed itself from the miseries of the world , yet it had caged its own soul in miseries forever, the most agonising of which was to see the longing of the loved ones for the deceased.
