She fondly looked at his official letter pad and asked if she could have one of her own. He asked what would she want to print on her letterhead. She just wanted her name in a fancy calligraphy.

She was overjoyed when the customized letter pad arrived and she wrote to everyone close to her. But the replies came only in texts. She realised that the whole generation had abandoned letter writing long back and shifted to faster means of cold communication.

Eventually the letter pad lay on the table for years, gradually turning yellow.
