It was the most beautiful piece of furniture in their house. It’s presence was mandatory at all events. They used it thoroughly but it never looked withered. Friends and relatives praised how beautiful, good and functional it was. Largely taken for granted. After all, it was just a piece of furniture.

Most called it by its name. But it was called sweetheart and mom too.
