Empty wine glasses lay on the floor. Mauve lip stain on one of them. An empty chips packet and roasted peanuts strewn on the soft, fluffy carpet, the big TV in front playing music videos on a loop, while she was oblivious to everything. She slept soundly on the carpet. The two big cushions and the comforter finally gave her the warmth she had been looking for.

When she let go of her tightly hidden fears over wine and trusted company, peace came from within with the first rays of the sun.
