She saw the recluse looking at her and writing in the cafe. She confronted him and found him making a sketch. In spite of many requests she tore the sketch and in her arrogance insulted him. The recluse left the cafe with a heavy heart.

Years later , a painting called ‘The Blind Beauty’ garnered world wide attention. The famous painter drew a beautiful face with its eyes closed. When he was asked why he did so , he said, ” the beauty lacked the soul, hence the eyes are closed”.

She too saw the painting. Strangely, it resembled her.
