The dreamer knows

There is nothing.

No promises, no signs,

Just a like on a post,

A lyric shared,

And may be a passing word.

Still, she builds meanings,

Tiny bridges from fragments.

“Don’t go by the words,

Just enjoy the music..”

She was warned once.

She knows she reads too much..

Sees stories where there are none.

But in those imagined moments,

She finds a calm delight.

She reads everything…

Things said, left unsaid and sometimes…

Even the things that will never be said.
