MY RED WALLET

As a kid, I always fancied owning a red wallet.
I bought a beautiful wallet with my first earning and I worked hard to make it fat.
A few years later, I was impressed with my sibling’s wallet holding bank cards. I worked harder.
After a long wait, my wallet resembled how I had envisioned it and I wanted to show it off to the world. But me and my wallet had withered with time and I realised both of us had lost the lustre to enjoy the little luxuries of life.
